As the leading photographic supplier and printing facility in the region Focal Point Imaging is in the ideal place to see how professional photographers work. We have been gathering information from professionals using our facilities at Focal Point. Based on images we have printed, worked on and manipulated for other photographers.

Equipment
From this material we will be able to give you a good overview of the equipment ( cameras, computers ) used, and the working practices (including software and printing methods ) of a cross section of photographers working in the region.

This site will show you why photographers use the equipment they do and explode a few myths.

In addition we have put together a list of the important skills that we feel are vital for a working photographer in 2010. We will talk about and demonstrate these techniques and provide you with information sheets to take away with you.
